The Sandpeddler is a small property of 21 individually owned one bedroom suites, we do invite groups to book with us. The Wilmington area including Wrightsville Beach offers many amazing venues for all types of weddings and events. We don't have an actual meeting space. Just across the street at the Oceanic Restaurant, they have a beautiful meeting space and host weddings both inside and on Crystal Pier.
Group Policies and Procedures
Group Blocks – Group blocks are available for 90 days or more prior to event date. Block must be guaranteed by the host credit card. Sandpeddler reserves the right to move rooms as needed to accommodate wedding block in a dedicated area. At 60 days, 50% of the block must be blocked or the number of units held will be reduced. At 30 days, the host will have the option to guarantee the unreserved rooms or release the rooms. For individuals of groups, there is a 14 day cancellation.
Quiet Time is between the hours of 10PM and 8AM.
Pool hours at 9:00AM to dusk, April 1 – October 31.
(1) parking space is allowed per unit. Guest with numbered passes must be in their assigned space. There are (3) overflow GUEST spaces that are first come, first served. The extra GUEST passes do not guarantee a space and will be towed if not in one of the (3) guest spaces. Extra parking is available at the Town lot next door. There is no parking available for trailers or oversized vehicles.
Please return keys to front desk or drop in key drop box, there is a $25 per key charge for missing keys.
Sandpeddler Inn and Suites is a non-smoking property. Sandpeddler Inn and Suites is a Pet Free hotel. By law, service dogs trained to mitigate a disability must be allowed.
One guest from each unit will be required to sign a Policies Form regardless of who is paying. Guests are responsible for damages to property and will be charged accordingly. This includes spray-tanning, hair dye, in-room smoking, missing or damaged property and having unauthorized pets in the rooms. Take care to not allow sharp objects or abuse of the sofa beds.
Check-in is at 3PM and Check-out is at 11AM and late check-outs are based on availability and not available Friday – Sunday. After Hours, Check-in must be prearranged by calling 910-256-2028.
Guests are responsible when making, changing or cancelling a reservation by email or phone to verify that you receive a correct confirmation via email. Must be 25 years of age with valid ID to book reservation. No show for multiple day reservations will be cancelled at 9AM the next day and the credit card on file will be charged for the first night stay plus tax and processing fee. All reservations must be confirmed with a credit card at the time that reservation is made.
For most reservations, there is a 48 hour Cancellation Policy – For reservations cancelled with less than 48 hour notice, the first night plus tax will be charged. For Weekly and Holiday/Special Event Periods, there is a 7 day cancellation. For Monthly, there is a 30 day cancellation. Special cancellation policies are required for groups. Cancellations for weather related issues are only allowed if the island has at least a voluntary evacuation or the airport ILM has been closed.
